HILICON iHILIC® Columns
PolyLC is proud to be the sole authorized distributor of HILICON iHILIC® columns in the United States. These innovative columns use a stationary phase composed of zwitterionic charge-modulated amide silica or polymer particles, offering exceptional performance and versatility for the separation of polar compounds.
HILICON iHILIC® columns stand out for their ability to leverage multiple separation mechanisms simultaneously. The unique design incorporates a mix of neutral, positively charged, and negatively charged hydrophilic functional groups covalently bonded to the surface of the particles. This allows the columns to exploit hydrophilic interaction, hydrogen bonding, and weak electrostatic interactions for superior separation of your polar analytes.
Diverse Chemistries for Every Application
PolyLC offers a variety of HILICON iHILIC® columns with different chemistries, each designed to meet specific separation needs:
- iHILIC-Fusion: A highly polar phase that provides strong retention of polar analytes.
- iHILIC-Fusion(+): A positively charged phase that is ideal for the separation of acidic compounds.
- iHILIC-Fusion(-): A negatively charged phase that is ideal for the separation of basic compounds.
- iHILIC-Glycan: A specialized phase for the separation of glycans.
